American Cash Flow Internet Chapter

F.A.Q.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How much is this going to cost me?

2. Does this mean that I don't need to attend my local Chapter meetings?

3. How do I join?

4. How can I keep the discussion list mail separate from all my other messages?

1. How much is this going to cost me?

Absolutely nothing. Thanks to our sponsor, Multiple Funding Solutions, Inc. the domain name registration, web hosting, web site design, administration of the discussion list, etc. are all paid for. So there are no charges, membership dues, or other fees for you to pay.

2. Does this mean that I don't need to attend my local Chapter meetings?

No! No! No! Don't ever give up your local Chapter.

The ACF iChapter is not meant to replace your local Chapter meetings. It's rather an additional resource for you. There is nothing better than a live meeting. There are things you can accomplish better face-to-face than can be done with a web site and an e-mail discussion list.

Your local Chapter may well bring in speakers from outside the group. These might be funding sources or vendors to help your business. You will really get to know the other consultants and other resources in your area on a personal basis.

On the other hand, there are things that the ACF iChapter can do better than a local Chapter.

  • You don't have to wait until the next meeting to ask someone a question. You can ask your questions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • You can talk to people all over the country, not just in your market. And knowing what's happening, what works and what doesn't work in markets outside your area - priceless!

  • Although it's very likely that you will never be in competition with any other cash flow consultant in your area on a transaction you're working on, people are often less reluctant to share information with people outside their immediate area.

  • You don't have to travel to any meeting. Instead, each ACF iChapter meeting comes right to your desk.

  • It's free. But remember, your local Chapter is worth much more than any dues you have to pay.

  • Your local Chapter meeting probably has 10 - 50+ people. The ACF iChapter makes hundreds available to you on-line.

3. How do I join?

You don't really need to "join" anything to benefit from the ACF iChapter.

You're welcome to browse the ACF iChapter web site and enjoy the benefits of the information available here.

However, if you want the maximum benefit from the ACF iChapter then you will want to subscribe to our free e-mail Discussion List. Just click here or on the Discussion List item on the menu at the left to read more about the Discussion List and how it works. Then click on the Subscribe link, read the instructions, fill out the simple form and you'll be subscribed to the Discussion List.

By subscribing to the free e-mail Discussion List you are considered an "official" member of the ACF iChapter.

If you find out that the Discussion List is not to your liking then all you have to do is go to the Unsubscribe link, follow the directions, fill out your account information and you will be un-subscribed from the list. It's that easy.

4. How can I keep the discussion list mail separate from all my other messages?

I recommend using the filtering capabilities of your email reader to direct the email from the discussion list to a separate folder from your other emails. That will make it easier to read and respond to the messages from the list.

If you don't know how to do that, check with the help file for your email reader. You can also fine instructions on the internet by going to your favorite search engine and searching for "your email reader name" and "filter."

This is a valuable technique to learn because it can be used to separate all your other mail into personal, business and other categories as well.
